at 2:00 p.m. at my home.
The cost of the class will be $8.00
This cost will include 20 cards and 20 candy bags.
If you need more then 20 no worries it is only
$4.00 for every additional set of 10.
Make sure to reserve your spot no later then Tuesday February 7, 2011

*These cards are very simple, but please be mindful that the younger the child the more assitance they will need. Especially with this amount of Valentines.

Christmas Advent Calendar Class

This advent calendar is by far my favorite and will be used for years in my home! The magnetic squares offer so much versatility! You can have a special magnet board for them or they will fit nicely on a mini muffin to so you can hide little treats behind each number. Don't have a lot of extra space they can even go on your fridge! This calendar was made using the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit and the 25 and Counting stamp set. Different pricing options for the class include one or both of these items.

This class will be held in my home
November 29, 2011
at 6:30 p.m.

$8- Includes ONLY the 25 magnetic squares.
$10- Includes the 25 magnetic squares and just under 1/2 of the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit.
(The extras are enough to make 6 full size cards and maybe even a couple tags.)
$24- Includes the 25 squares and the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit (minus what we use for the calendar which isn't much.)
$55- Includes the 25 squares, the Christmas Lane Simple Scrappin' Kit, AND the 25 and counting clear mount stamp set!

I absolutely love these cellophane bags! The possibilities are endless and just keep flowing through my mind.

These "sour cream" pouches are the perfect little hand out or party favor!

A simple band on this soda bottle spices it right up and makes it so festive. This could easily done on a soda can or around a candy bar as well.

A Sweet and Sour Bridal Shower

This week was a little different when it came to crafting. Instead of my usual cards and scrapbook pages I had a different project. My cousin is getting married in a couple weeks and it was time for her bridal shower. My grandma called and asked if I would put together the door prizes for the shower. The hard part...she didn't want me to spend more then a $1 a piece. When she told me that her colors were orange and pink I immediately thought of the Sweet and Sour DSP scraps that I had tucked away in my retired Stampin Up! stash and the wheels immediately started to turn.

This is a group shot of what I came up with. notepads and pens (simply purchased from the dollar store and wrapped with ribbon), soaps (also dollar store), but my favorite were the candy jars and the sets of note cards. I used the Sweet and Sour DSP as a accent on almost every gift. The toppers for both card packs, filler for the little bags the soaps were in, and the candy jars are all done with that paper.

This is the first set of note cards that I came up with. I didn't put a sentiment on them so that they could be used for any occasion. I really struggled with the 4x4 size for a while. Usually I do better on a smaller canvas, but not this time. It took a lot of sample looking to come up with this. It follows pretty closely one of the samples from the current Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog.

This is one of the candy jars. I absolutely LOVE these fan fold flower things! I actually have a wreath made with them. I use them any time that I can and this candy jar was no exception. I don't have a close up of the other candy jar, but it is the group shot pictured above. These two gifts were the first to go. One of the ladies even said that she only picked it cause it looked so cute. The only thing better then a sweet candy treat is when it is in an even cuter container!

This is the last set of cards that I came up with. This design also follows closely one from the Idea Book and Catalog.
I was sad to see this paper retire, but it was fun to work with it one last time. If you love these projects and would like to create some on your own try the Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper
It is pretty similar in color and would look adorable with these projects!!!
Want to know the best part of all? During the month of August when you buy 3 packs of Designer Series Paper you get 1 for FREE!!! How awesome is that?
